FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

FREQUENT QUESTIONS

1. Can I change my registration details after registering?

The participant's name and CPF cannot be changed after registration, as they are used to identify the holder of the spot. If it is necessary to update the access email, for example, in case access to the registered address is lost, the change must be requested directly from our Concierge at +55 47 99975-9519

The phone number may also be updated upon request. The address and the information used to issue the invoice belong exclusively to the payer provided at the time of purchase and must also be changed through the Concierge.

Remember to use a different email address and CPF for each participant. Repeated information may cause problems identifying the registration and creating individual access credentials.

2. Can I change my registration category?

Yes. Contact us by September 1, 2026 by email contact@baps.global or by phone +55 47 99975-9519 and request the category transfer, providing your full name and CPF, then wait for further instructions.

3. Can I purchase extra activities (Cadaver Lab and VIP Access) separately?

If you are registered in the plastic surgeon category or the resident category, and subject to spot availability, YES.

4. Is lunch included every day?

Yes. In this edition, lunch is included for everyone, every day, in the exhibition area.

5. Is the coffee break included?

Yes. Every day there will be a coffee break in the exhibition area for all congress attendees.

6. How will I receive important information before the congress?

You will be invited to join a WhatsApp group and an information channel. We will communicate through those channels.

7. Is there an official WhatsApp group for congress attendees?

Yes. There is an official group and you will be invited to join it. If you are not in the group, contact the Concierge.

8. Can I enter and leave the event during the day?

Yes, but remember that when returning to the event you must be wearing your badge. Entry without a badge will not be allowed.

9. What attire is recommended for the congress and for the BAPS Party?

The congress has a smart casual/business dress code. For this year's BAPS Party, there will be an Abadá, so choose comfortable shoes and light clothing.

Your documents will then be reviewed, and if the membership is approved, we will contact you with further information and guidelines.

  • Membership is not available to plastic surgery residents.

REGISTRATION CATEGORIES

1. Who can participate in the congress?

For the scientific program (Breast, Face and Body plenary sessions), the event is exclusive to duly certified plastic surgeons and residents approved according to the rules established by BAPS. The other activities are intended for affiliated multidisciplinary teams. Some speakers may come from other professions/specialties if they are evaluated and invited by the scientific coordination team to contribute. Check the available tickets at the following link: baps.global/5-congresso-baps.

2. How can a plastic surgeon register?

Plastic surgeons who practice in Brazil and hold a specialist title (RQE) are eligible to register. Go to the page baps.global/5-congresso-baps for the 5th BAPS National Congress, choose your category as a BAPS member or non-member, and fill in the required information to complete payment.

If you are an international plastic surgeon who DOES NOT PRACTICE in Brazil, contact the Concierge at +55 47 9975-9519 and send your plastic surgeon certification documentation for review. Once approved, we will contact you to confirm authorization, after which you may complete your registration and payment.

3. How can a resident register?

Residents who completed national programs and practice in Brazil may participate if they are currently enrolled in plastic surgery residency programs accredited by the SBCP (https://www.cirurgiaplastica.org.br/), as well as plastic surgeons who completed residency between 2023 and 2025 (also in an SBCP-accredited program) and who do not yet hold RQE certification. The training institution must be listed as accredited by the SBCP. Residents from international programs will not be accepted. Contact the Concierge: +55 47 99975-9519.

4. How can a manager register?

The manager category includes professionals involved in management, sales, marketing, finance and administrative activities in general at the clinic of a plastic surgeon who is a congress attendee and member.

If the team is linked to a plastic surgeon who is attending the congress, the team member may purchase a ticket by providing the information of the linked professional.

If the team belongs to a BAPS-member plastic surgeon who is not attending the congress, the participation of the linked team may be authorized through an authorization letter from the professional. In this case, contact our Concierge for more information: +55 47 99975-9519.

If the team is linked to a plastic surgeon who is neither attending the congress nor a BAPS Member, participation in the event will not be possible.

5. How can a pre- and post-operative professional register?

The pre- and post-operative category includes professionals involved in patient care before, during and after plastic surgery, such as nurses, nursing technicians, physical therapists, physicians from other specialties and others linked to the plastic surgeon attending the congress.

If the team is linked to a plastic surgeon attending the congress, the team member may purchase a ticket by providing the congress attendee's information.

If the team is linked to a plastic surgeon who is neither attending the congress nor a BAPS member, the team will not be able to participate.

If the team belongs to a BAPS-member plastic surgeon who will not attend the event, the surgeon may authorize the team's participation through an authorization letter. In this case, contact the Concierge for more information. Contact number: +55 47 99975-9519

A videomaker may participate as long as they are expressly linked to a plastic surgeon registered as a congress attendee. Access to plenary sessions and extra-course rooms is allowed only during the lecture of the linked surgeon, in addition to the event's common areas. A videomaker linked to a professional who is not speaking may not enter the plenary room. If the videomaker is linked to more than one surgeon, this must be reported urgently at accreditation and at least 2 hours before the lecture.

7. Can a companion attend the lectures?

The companion ticket provides access only to the exhibition area, coffee breaks, lunches and the BAPS Party. This registration category does not include access to any scientific or educational program.

8. How does speaker registration work?

Speakers are invited by BAPS core coordinators, who notify the Event Administration team so the invitation can be formalized through an invitation letter sent by email.

After accepting, the speaker must provide the name to be used in publicity, their social media profiles, and a high-resolution photo for publication on the congress website and promotional materials.

Speaker registration will be completed at the appropriate time. If the speaker has received a registration fee waiver and is a plastic surgeon, the benefit will be granted only if their BAPS annual membership is active.

If the annual membership fee is outstanding, it can be brought up to date through the link: plataforma.baps.global/renew.

Speaker access during the congress:

  • 1. Plastic surgeon: will have access to all three days of plenary programming (Face, Breast and Body), and may attend all scientific activities of the congress.
  • 2. Physician from another specialty: will have access only to the plenary room during the time of their lecture and may not participate in the other scheduled activities.
  • 3. Speaker in the Pre- and Post-Op or Management programs (not a plastic surgeon): may participate exclusively in the course or program for which they are registered during the three days of the event and may not access the congress plenary rooms.

Additional information:

  • All speakers will have access, during all three days of the congress, to the exhibitor area, coffee breaks and lunch. They may also participate in sports events promoted by BAPS.

Note: The registration fee waiver granted to speakers does not include admission to the BAPS Party.

If you wish to attend, the ticket must be purchased separately through the link: plataforma.baps.global/events/5-congresso-2026/speaker.

SCIENTIFIC PROGRAM

1. How does the Cadaver Lab work?

The Cadaver Lab is an exclusive training session performed on fresh cadavers, combining theoretical content and practical activities. The aim is to provide participants with an in-depth learning experience in small groups.

Two formats will be offered:

  • Face Cadaver Lab: 12 spots, with up to 2 students per face.

The program also includes coffee break, brunch, transportation, scrubs and surgical caps for participants.

Each room will have a maximum capacity of 4 participants, ensuring an exclusive experience with a small number of people. Spots are therefore limited and subject to availability at the time of purchase.

Please note that VIP ACCESS is an additional activity and may only be purchased by plastic surgeons or residents who are duly registered for the congress. Congress registration is therefore mandatory to purchase and participate in this experience.
